I run long distances early in the morning and was concerned that the small reflective elements on my shoes were not showing up well enough. This is my first safety vest, I've been using it since spring, I have no complaints. It took me a while to get used to the feeling, but now I don't even notice the vest. The flashlight battery lasts a LONG time on a single charge, although I don't use flashlights very often as the reflectivity of the straps is very noticeable in car headlights. Wearing a hi-vis vest while running seemed superfluous at first, but knowing drivers can see me in the dark more than makes up for any fashion shortcomings.
