Kitty is very happy, especially with record low temperatures in Michigan - below zero and one degree. The last 2 years before he had a K&H high current house it still worked fine but the kitten was very lazy, old and very fat so we bought it to give him more space. So, through no fault of the heater, he died trying to keep up with the cold. We called K&H and they told us we had chosen the wrong wattage and they immediately sent a higher wattage for free. Your customer service is outstanding. This winter we threw some towels over the top and sides to keep us warm, but if it were a normal winter I probably wouldn't. We have never put a canopy on the door just because the cat loves to sit inside and watch the world go by. House in an unheated garage.
