Kick my ass for throwing away boxes. But in my defense, I've used Mophie products for many years and expected them to work. I got these because my wife got me a cheaper JC Penney pair for Christmas and I liked it so much I decided to buy 2 more. All I had to do was ask her to send me another pair of JC Penneys bring to. I sent one back thinking it was defective. I left my iPhone 8 on it for 5 hours and found the iPhone wouldn't charge. The indicator on the face of the charger showed it was charging, but it clearly wasn't. I got one for work because we give iPhones to other employees and some of them still have iPhone 8s. I have two of these (one for work and one at home) and my wife has one too. It's VERY disappointing that they don't work on the iPhone 8. It DEFINITELY works on the iPhone XR, so if you buy it for that, you're good to go.
