I bought this as an add on item when on a baby-shopping spree. While it my daughter doesn't really use it as a teether, it is still a favorite, especially for the car! I attached it to her car seat with some toy rings, and it goes with us everywhere. The bright colors and different textures, the slight rattle sound, plus the ability to twist around keep her tiny hands occupied on the way to and from day care. Occasionally she will chew on it, but she really prefers to just hold it and twist it.The only thing I wish were slightly different is the rattle. It's too quiet to pull a baby's attention like other rattles, and if there are any other noises going on (like that jerk who blasts their loud bass music at the stoplight), then the rattle is pretty much unheard.
