I bought this comb because I was told it would damage my hair less since it was sawn and not stamped or injection molded. I have experienced the opposite. I've always used cheap little black stamped combs and they've always worked well. It wasn't until I started using this that the hair on my head and beard started falling out. I think I know why this comb isn't working. The sawn part of the comb teeth looks porous, rough, similar to sandpaper, but not smooth. The spacing between the teeth seems literally good, it should be finely toothed, and it is, but the teeth themselves are very wide and drive a lot of hair into a thin, rough cut. This comb grabs and pulls like crazy. Also, the gold letters came off after the first few uses, it looks like I have gold glitter in my hair.
