I walk with a cane to keep one arm open to carry the things I need when I'm not at home. I have to carry my cell phone, my sunglasses (when not in use), eye drops I need to control dry eyes, often paper items I need for a meeting, etc. This shoulder bag meets all my requirements. I ordered it to be worn over my right shoulder for access to the well-designed zippered pockets in my right hand. I don't even realize I'm wearing it because it's so light and fits snugly to my body. The shoulder strap is made of wide and heavy material. There is a pillow for the part of the trap that rests on the shoulder. I guess if I had a gun I could carry it in my shoulder bag, but here in Arizona I've noticed that most men carry guns on their belts. It certainly saved me a lot of trouble to get to where I need to be without having to carry everything in my pockets and in my hand.
