The strong plastic smell is a big bummer.
These bags are very inexpensive and convenient for travel, but they smell awful. I washed them and aired them out for a couple of weeks but the strong plastic smell lingered. They cause the odor of anything you put in or near them (e.g. clothes in a suitcase).
