Good budget mount (see details). Recommended

I received a tilting TV wall mount. VESA 600x400mm 100lbs for Old Samsung 52" TV (LN52A650) The "old" part matters, as the TV uses CCFL backlighting instead of LED backlighting - one of the reasons it weighs 66 pounds (!). Normally I would go with the Sanus mount but the aim of this project was to keep the price as low as possible. At around $22, Elved is definitely cheap, but is it cheap? The wall plate assembly is fairly strong and about the same quality as the Cheetah mount. Parentheses, on the other hand, suck. They are good in that they are compatible with a large number of VESA holes, but bad in that they are not connected in any way (I would prefer a single mount). I mounted the wall plate on 18" studs in the center. The brackets attached to the VESA 600x400 mounting points. Mounting the bracket to the wall plate was easy enough, but a bit tight to attach given the low profile of the overall bracket Elived isn't as pleasant to work with as the 'nicer' (and more expensive) mount, however my set up was complicated in part by the fact that my TV weighs over 60lbs. A 55" TV weighs 40lbs (or less) and has Holes of 200x200mm Your experience should be a little easier If not you're still talking about you only need to dig into this thing for 30 minutes every 10 years Recommended
