bought these for myself I am small for reference 5ft tall weight 140 bought them large and extra large as they are girls sizes. I wanted to make sure they weren't small where he would see through if needed. The large return was a bit see through due to the size and not the material. I will keep the XL, they fit perfectly, the inseam fits my ankle perfectly.
