Perfect for real use. If you need noise-cancelling, high-quality music or the like, look elsewhere. BUT, if you want a pair of headphones that won't fall out and allow you to continue listening to books, podcasts, talk shows while you work out, do chores, or other activities without distraction, this is perfect. It's loud, stays in your ear with no discomfort, and gives you the freedom to move without worrying about the cords. The sound isn't bad - not tinny and not deaf, but the bass is enough, albeit weak. If I need high fidelity, I use a different set of headphones. It's okay to use the phone hands-free, but a little "at a distance". However, it works. It's not the best option for watching videos. There seems to be very little lag on Bluetooth devices so it's distracting, but then again I haven't used it for watching movies. I have had 3-4 other wireless earbuds and this is by far the most stable and comfortable. I've only had it a day or two so time will tell how well it holds up. The battery life is as stated. But even if it only lasts a few months, it's only $20. Update June 23, 2017: Im impressed! A few days ago, the headphone volume suddenly dropped to a whisper. I emailed GoNovate asking what the problem might be, just a customer request. The next day I received an email saying they would send me a new device; the speaker is probably broken. So, without asking, they took responsibility and replaced the earpiece for free. Well, THAT is customer service. Today I received a replacement handset. Highly recommended headphones and company. Update June 2019: I have to downgrade to 4 stars. I still think these are the best little earbuds ever, especially for the price. But there is a constant flaw in the gland. Everything I said still applies - light, you can fall asleep without discomfort in the ear, it's loud and easy. But for no reason, he suddenly stops taking command and dies. The seller has already replaced two for free, but this is the third time and there seems to be an inherent problem. And that thing only costs $20! If it takes half a year or a year, it's totally worth it. I would buy another.
