Are clothes moths attractive? Yes but. In the first 24 hours when I attached the pheromone square the trap caught 7 months so I assume the product did what is described as a 'warning' that you have clothes moths. The next 24 hours I caught 2 more butterflies and then nothing, although I did see other butterflies (which could be females). I decided to test the theory and put another trap next to another that was a week old at the time and the new trap caught 7 more and the other trap didn't get any new ones. Like the first time I caught a few more over the next 2 days but none after that. They ended up working for me, but the pheromone squares seem to lose their scent after a few days. For the price they get for a folded piece of sticky cardboard, the manufacturer has to add more bags of pheromones with each purchase to prolong the effectiveness of each trap.
