My best friend bought the original version of this camera and was blown away by the ease of configuration. , Ease of use, features - software and hardware, video quality. And now I understand why. It really is a game changer in terms of security cameras. The cost is staggering and I have to admit I was worried before I bought these cameras. I like to feel like I understand the business model of the company I'm buying from, especially the one that I connect to my personal network. It feels like buying a $50 iPhone. In fact, I have to say that I felt like I bought an Apple product when I rotated the cameras. They come in beautiful packaging and the processing and operation is simply great and the applesauce is tasty. But while I got my first three in perfect tune, the last three I just bought were problematic. Setup was as smooth as ever, but you ended up updating to the latest and greatest firmware. It worked last time. It didn't happen this time. The first camera gave me an error message. So I removed the camera from the application and started it again. It's easily configurable again, but this time with the latest firmware. So apparently the update worked, but on reboot something went wrong in the end. All 3 did the same thing. However, all 3 have been working fine for 8 months, with 2 or 3 firmware updates that have been flawless. New interesting features have been added to the firmware and application.
