Good and evil in thermos flasks
First the good - the bottle looks great. I have a wooden bottle. The filling mechanism is also good. You'll master it after a few casts. However, I have 2 complaints and not sure if it was just my bottle or all of them. First, I poured 180 degrees Fahrenheit water into the thermos (I took the temperature with a thermometer). The outside of the bottle got very hot. It was awkward to hold. I definitely wouldn't let my 2 year old touch it. And the second. The temperature dropped from 180 to 132 in 1.5 hours. I thought the water would stay hotter longer. I'm using it for a friend of mine so I want it to stay above 160 for maybe 2+ hours ideally. I'll come back and try another one.
