My 97 E-350 Super Duty had two misfire codes, one small, one large. The coils turned out to be an odd mix of factory junk, Duralast, and even two coils made for a three-valve module and with covers replaced. Swapped them all out for these, even though people on the Ford Truck Forum said I regret putting "cheap crap coils" in my van. Well, my research paid off. These coils work great, after a year no cylinders have failed, the van starts on the first hit of the starter and I ended up getting an extra mile to the gallon. They won't give you an extra 20 horsepower, but they'll save you a ton of money and perform as well or better than stock. Just make sure you are using the correct Motorcraft connectors and make sure the connector is fully seated.
