I was in the military in Iraq for over a year and took two Aquis Adventure towels with me. They have endured harsh conditions with no flaws. Military laundry is particularly demanding for textiles, but these towels have performed great even after 15 months of use and have not fallen apart. Before I got them I had 100% cotton towels that army laundry could do pretty badly. Aquis towels started out soft, stayed soft and didn't break. In fact, they are still my travel towels and I even keep one in my bag for emergencies. They are compact and compact, but absorb a lot of water and dry quickly. I have a very large one and they offered a lot of coverage. The snap loop has come in handy more times than I can count. You may find a better towel, but you have to look hard. The price might seem intimidating, but when you consider durability, comfort, and functionality, this is the real deal. If they ever wear out, I would buy them again.
