Review on 📸 Pentax Optio WG-2 Kit: Durable Waterproof Camera for Outdoor Enthusiasts by Brooke Washington

I bought this camera for a trip to Hawaii. My wife and I have both used it on dry land with great concern for its safety. We got some great pictures snorkeling and hiking to the volcano. On the 4th day of our vacation, while we were taking pictures on the beach, the camera's LED display went out and stopped working. The camera itself was able to take a few more shots and stopped. We checked all the holes and the rubber ring around the battery/SD card hole and everything looked fine. After returning from Hawaii I contacted Pentax support and they were very friendly and helpful. The employee tried to help me fix some issues with the camera recording but it wouldn't turn on at all. At that point they realized it was defective and sent in a new one for replacement. It arrived about a week later (brand new camera in an unopened box with all accessories, battery and instructions) and worked as expected on arrival. We decided to take it with us the next day, but when I got tired of turning it on, it wouldn't turn on at all. The only reason I'm not giving this one star is because of the very friendly and prompt support we received. from Pentax and when the camera worked it was great (although it was only 4 days).
