I'm one of those guys with big wrists. For my last Apple Watch purchase, the Apple brand only offers 1 XL band. So of course the search continued and I bought "parts” to put together an XL leather watch for my Apple Watch. All credit goes to ALPINE and Barton (for adapters). I have an 8.5" wrist and as you can see from the picture there is room on either side of the buckle to make holes or lose. The strap is very comfortable and light. I would like to add that this is a nice group. Not too dark. Which I like because it will (I think) mature and darken over time. The strap has only been on my watch for a day, so I can't comment on durability. Oh yes, let's not forget the instrument that was sent with the band. ALPINE didn't have to ship this tool, but they did. And I'm grateful because it makes everything so much easier. If anything changes I will come back and edit/update this review.
