Review on 🐱 Vesper Lounger: Elevated Cat Tree with Cozy Hideout by Jessica Young

Neutral and sophisticated color scheme

I really like the colors of this cat tree. They are neutral and look great in my bedroom where I have cream colored furniture. I like that it doesn't stick out or look tacky. Setup is very easy. No tools are required and the pieces simply snap together. The hammock at the top has four ropes attached to each corner. There is enough fabric to tie securely without worrying about loosening. My chunky cat has checked my knots many times and had no problems. Of course, in the worst case, he would just jump onto the pillow underneath. But I still didn't want him to have a bad experience and not come back to him. So there is no board under the pillow. I see how this has been resolved, but I believe this is a bug in production. It doesn't matter whether the scratching post is in the room in which it will live. However, when moving a tree, more attention and care should be given to the placement and raising of the arms. I learned it the hard way. I figured I'd just quickly pick up and pull the bed. As I did so, the bed moved and I immediately broke off a piece of veneer. After seeing how quickly this could go wrong, I checked my arm position and raised and did it more carefully the second time. It's not impossible or terrible, but it's not that easy to pick up and move. If there was a bottom plate the whole structure would be much easier to move and it would be more securely fixed to move. Otherwise, the lack of a bottom doesn't affect performance in any way.
