My 100lb Vizio 46" TV has been mounted on it for 4 months with no problems or visible defects in the metal. The only issue I had was the retarded screws that came with the mount. I manually screwed the last one into the stud and the head of the screw broke off leaving the rest in the stud. I compared the tie bolts to my last cheetah flat mount and the anchor bolts were almost twice as thick. If I hadn't broken the anchor bolt, the weight of my TV would have ended up breaking them and costing hundreds of dollars I STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you go to a hardware store and purchase 4 3/8 inch thick screws and discard the ones that came with the bracket, regardless of the weight of your TV.
