Very solid stand for the money!

I bought this TV stand to use when camping outside my RV so my wife and I can watch outdoor sports when the weather is nice. I already had the perfect TV. I was pleasantly surprised at how good this stand is for the money. Assembly can be tricky as others have pointed out so I'm including some tips and photos that will hopefully make up for the lack of instructions. First of all, if you lay out all the parts as shown in the diagram in the Inventory section of the building instructions, you will have a much easier time identifying the small parts needed for each step. All bolts and nuts are packed in two bags and laid out in the same order as in the stock picture. So lay out the equipment packs as they appear on the inventory picture and you will know what nuts, bolts and washers are there. use for each build step. Additionally, the second hardware package, which includes a variety of screws and washers, is designed to accommodate the many different mounting tab configurations that come with different TVs. So don't worry because you won't even use most of them, making the task a little less difficult. After attaching the center support (A) to the legs (B), I noticed that the center support (A) wasn't dead on its legs, but was offset towards one end. FYI: Once assembled, the longer portions of the legs should face towards the front of the stand. Also, the center stand (A) is at a slight angle (difficult to see), causing the center post (C) to tilt back slightly in the assembled stand. (see images) This allows the TV to be centered on the stand and puts the TV's weight on the front (longer) legs, making it more stable; Therefore, do not TIGHTEN or TIGHTEN nuts until you are sure that the center support (A) is installed in the correct direction to allow the support leg (C) to tip backwards. I made this mistake and had to analyze everything. After assembly I decided to make a few changes. I went to my local hardware store (LO's) and bought heavier gauge washers (silver in the picture) for the TV mount because the washers that came with them weren't wide enough or strong enough to not bend when I tightened the screws. I also took two 1/4 x 1-3/4 coupling pins (as shown in the picture) to make it easier to adjust the stand's height or take the travel stand apart. These pins fit perfectly into existing holes! After assembly I was very satisfied with the final product. Hope it lasts a long time.
