I received this specifically for cleaning and drying the interior windows in our cars. I also use it outside but they are always easier to clean. I also often use an outdoor glass wiper. However, windshield and window interior parts are more difficult to come by. It's hard without stripes. This tool makes it easier. With this arm and swivel head, I can get into hard-to-reach places under the dash and in the top corners. You get 2 hats, a thinner yellow and a thicker grey. There is also a small spray bottle. They say it only takes water, but I like to mix half and half with white vinegar. I spray a little evenly on the installed yellow trim and wet the window section by section. Then I apply a gray overlay, making sure to wipe the glass dry. Any streaks and I repeat the process. It works great and I'm happy with it.
