The legs of this ladder are strong but that's where the positives end. The safety latch is extremely tricky, you have to make sure it engages to keep the hole open. Then you have to pull the very thin handle when closing, which I'm sure won't take more than a few tries while still putting your foot on the bottom bar and exiting the safety lock. The steps overlap too much when fully open, leaving a very narrow area when descending. I do not recommend this product.
