While the replacement kit works, there are a few things I think should be considered. 1) Replacement joysticks are not "exactly the same as the mini joysticks that came with your controller". Are they heavier and more grooved? than the originals. While the original joysticks had some edge grip, these replacements had more grip. If a different hardness or grip appeals to you, I recommend buying something else. 2) When I tried to use a long spatula (a tool used to open the grooves of the controller) the curved tip broke. I haven't removed the other side yet. I tried the smaller triangular one which worked much better. I was disappointed that one of the tools broke before I fully used it for the first time.
