Don't expect them to last
At first my husband loved these! They were exactly what he wanted. But the third time he wore them they split up the back. They were not too small. He didn't strain them. They were washed according to directions. All he did was get out of the car and now the shorts are unwearable. I'm very disappointed.

These shorts are really comfortable. The only thing I noticed after washing a couple of times is a fade/color change near the bottom.
