I have only had my wallet a few days and so far I am happy with it. I am replacing another slim wallet that was simply a money clip one side with card holders on the other. It worked well but if I put a crisp bill in the money clip by the time I went to go use it looked beaten and my new credit cards began peeling on the edges. Neither was a big deal but now the money clip and card holders are on the inside so when I go to use my cash or cards they are on the inside of the wallet, so they come out like they went in. I know it sounds crazy but both those reasons are why I replaced my prior wallet. As for the leather of the new wallet it is so soft and I like how the light bounces off the camo pattern i purchased . With age the leather should wear and darken nicely .
