2 out of 3 cables are bad
The length was correct. Replaced the computer power cord and monitor power cord, pressed the power button and nothing. Checked power switch. Installed the 3rd cable to the computer and started everything. I changed the monitor cable and nothing. I installed the old cable and switched it on. 2 out of 3 cables are dead on arrival.
