Bought for a Labor Day trip to Moab. Rope worked great, I bought 11mm 300' Black. I bought the 11mm because it wasn't much larger than the 10.5mm. I've used this rope for 7 descents from 100 to 170 feet with little to no wear on the rope. in the mud and sand it dried quickly overnight and stayed fairly clean. There were no problems tying bites or knots. Minimal stretch, even on a 170ft rap I didn't notice any bouncing or stretching. mental duck tape for longer raps) Cons: Buddy said he struggled to get 11mm through his ATC. I haven't had any problems, but I prefer a thicker rope. If you're worried about that, just go with 10.5mm. 300ft is hard to roll and hard to carry around all day, but I'm not sure you can find a lighter rope of the same size with the same performance. Complaints about this rope, it was perfect for my needs and I got what I paid for. Compared to other ropes I currently use, I definitely feel more bounce on this rope at about 150 feet of rap, but that's not a problem for me. The size makes it a good rope for beginners due to the high friction.
