Review on Brusheez® Kids Electric Toothbrush Carnivore by Charity Johnson

Cute but stopped working on day two

I bought this toothbrush for my daughter as she is currently obsessed with dinosaurs and I have an ultrasonic electric toothbrush that has a similar function to this one. She was in seventh heaven from the toothbrush and liked the schedule. She was very excited to schedule her brushing and make sure she brushes at the exact time indicated on the hourly timer. However, there is a very thin blue band around the toothbrush that controls the motor. Toothpaste came in these blue stripes and it didn't work on the second day. If I removed the whole head I could press the start button and it would work meaning it wasn't the batteries but this wouldn't work with either the one day head or the new head meaning that the toothbrush automation aspect was no longer valid. Pretty expensive for one day use. It's not good as a non-powered toothbrush because the bristles aren't colorful enough so they don't get in the way like a manual colored toothbrush, so I definitely wouldn't buy again if I didn't know they improved their design to ensure that if water or toothpaste gets into a very delicate band, it will continue to work. My own toothbrush, for example, comes with replaceable rubber bands so it always works. I have a problem similar to that of my daughter when the toothpaste runs down the neck of the toothbrush and gets into the body.
