My kitten LOVES this! She ate Purina kitten food at her foster home and when I started transitioning her to this new food I put a small bowl on the floor at a time. She was immediately attracted to Primal and licked her bowl clean. I was hoping to give her a little bit of each type of food each day to make her transition completely without getting sick, but now she won't even touch Purina and only eats Primal! She only had the turkey formula, but she loves it so much I doubt we'll try others. As you can guess from the photo, once the bowl is up to her level, she begins to devour it with gusto. I've heard some people say that kittens should only eat cat food but my tiny 8 week old is fine and seems to be getting what he needs. No vomiting, no bad toilet episodes, just a happy little kitty with a full tummy. In terms of diet, she seems quite happy with four meals a day. I'm not sure how many nuggets it boils down to, I broke all the nuggets up into small pieces (they're easy to crush with a mortar and pestle) and put them in a bag to reduce the time it takes to cook each piece. Food. It also allows me to give her as much or as little at once as I think she needs, be it a big meal after a long game or a small snack. I would recommend doing this if you don't mind sharing the meal yourself. I also like to add a little more water than the packet says. This way my kitty gets a little more hydration and she doesn't mind because she loves the taste of it.
