I didn't buy this to make shaving a hobby. I bought this because the blades are cheaper, it's better for the environment and I'm cheap. This is the first I have ever used a safety razor in. I use mine in the shower to save time and use shaving gel because it's quicker. Not only has it given me a better shave than I've ever had with those crappy 2-5 blade razors, it's also made my skin feel better. I used to be afraid to shave. Now, two days later, when I see my hair reach "that point," I'm really glad to be able to shave. I highly recommend anyone still using that plastic junk to switch to safety razors! Also, don't apply any pressure. Let it slide under the weight of the razor. I didn't get it at first, but after tearing my Adam's apple one day, I got it.
