Although Babyletto has labeled this item as "non-toxic," it was shipped with warnings under California State Proposition 65 (Flame Retardant, Proposition 65 (Carcinogen)). ) and ethylene glycol. I noticed that there is a Proposition 65 warning on the list, but I couldn't find any mention of specific chemicals. Some of the warnings under Prop 65 are quite conservative (i.e. some risks are ingestion only, but even if the item is not ingested a warning is still required) so I thought that might be the case with this mattress. Unfortunately this is not the case and I am wondering how they are able to label this mattress as "non-toxic". Very disappointed, but at least there are free returns!
