Very limited functionality and poor design. Don't waste money. Not like a room model.

Pros: - Decent image quality - Partly wireless. (The base station must be connected to the router by cable) - Night vision. Only for 12 second clip Cons: - Base station. You need a base station for this. The base station must connect directly to the router. The base station broadcasts its own radio signal right next to your router. My signal strength from my router is much higher than that of a small base station. Indoor monitors connect directly to Wi-Fi and do not require a base station. Why not outdoors? This is why I get the best range from indoor cameras.- There is a very limited time to actually record video. You get a 12 second video clip and then the camera has to "cool off" for 5 minutes. With the internal camera, you can add an SD card to continuously record motion events and then stop recording when the event ends. This is NOT possible with a street model. WYZE's claim is that the battery will drain faster. The SD card can only be used if you want to schedule a period for the camera to record continuously or at intervals. It looks like they are draining the battery just as much. You still don't have a web interface to view your videos on a laptop/desktop monitor. You must use your phone or tablet. This will give you a small image to see your input. The workaround is to download an Android emulator on your computer. But I doubt most people would do that. Needless to say I am very disappointed in this product and Wyze for the promotional material they sent me prior to release. They pretended it was a wireless/outdoor version of the indoor camera with all its features. I'm thinking of ordering a few of them if they work satisfactorily, as well as some of their other products (watches and scales). created with the Wyze ecosystem. If they come up with a product that doesn't require a base station and lets you record detected motion to an SD card, I'll be back.

Cons
