An amazing mouse - finally free from Razer products!

As someone who has been buying Razer Deathadder mice for years because I couldn't find anything that compares in size/comfort, I think this is a really great mouse. It's weighty but still feels light (if you're used to heavy mice this might not be for you), clicks are good and the mouse doesn't get stuck in a million different buttons since I only need two side buttons for my MMO to be mapped. I will say if you want to avoid Razer mice then please seriously consider this mouse. I don't want to hit Razer too hard but imo the build quality of the Deathadder has deteriorated over the years and it now seems cheap as it breaks down within 6 months to 1 year of normal gaming use. It glides smoothly on my Corsair pad and I haven't noticed any performance issues. No lags, no jitters, nothing. I also really like that I can set up a profile for my MMO. So when I start the game itself, the program recognizes it and switches to that profile. The clicks are a bit louder than my old Deathadder, but I can live with that, they don't bother me in any way. The mouse's RGB setting is fantastic - you can set colors, patterns, etc. Note, however, that you should definitely look for a NON-WINDOWS 10 STORE version of the NGenuity software. **Officially** it's (obviously) recommended for the Windows 10 Store version, but I've read too many horror stories from people having performance issues with the Win10 Store version compared to the old software you're using can do everything which is what you probably want/should be doing in it anyways + also updated the firmware in my mouse when I plugged it in. Just a word of caution and hopefully a headache saver for anyone considering buying this mouse.

Pros
  • Pixart 3389 sensor up to 16,000 native dpi
Cons
  • Slightly dented
