My dislike for this model's addition of a diode strip to the top of the case is totally subjective, but it shines in my eyes. I had to expressly go into another user first to make a red backlight after I placed a dim backlight in place. It is more discrete when playing and fits better beneath the red controller. This diode carries no semantic burden in the games that I play. The controller's body is a vibrant red; personally, I would have preferred it to be a little darker, like the lower half of the casing, but this is a matter of preference.
Pros
- I purchased from the MTM vendor on Amazon. Original is effective. There are no issues with charging; it happens at the station's regular time. better than the old type at keeping the battery in place. All of the buttons are depressed silently and without any creaking. Nice velvet plastic makes up the case's top portion.
Cons
- When the sticks (joysticks) are deflected, a faint click is heard. Yet, they operate without a problem. The sticks on the old model, in contrast to this one, are silent.
