The hair clipper itself is only of tolerable quality. The power button is a bit flimsy and I'm not terribly concerned that it stands the test of time. It also charges via the included micro USB cable. It's a nice touch, I would have preferred USB-C, but it's a standard cable that 1) doesn't have to lose the proprietary charging cable and 2) is easy to replace. The different widths on the blade heads allow for some variety, but honestly I doubt I'll see myself using it unless I'm super quick to touch up a few sideburns or loose hair that needs taming. I would rather use a dedicated hair clipper for serious hair cutting needs. The largest clippers are still much narrower than the standard clippers. Because of this, while having some versatility, I would ultimately say that this is not the best tool for any given job. For this reason he would not have received top marks. 3.5/5.
