Review on Nintendo Switch Charging Dock - Charging Station with LED Indicator for Joy Cons and Pro Controllers by Michael Powell

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Defective and poor construction and design.

Numerous design flaws, very cheap and poor construction but the biggest complaint is that it just doesn't work. not suitable. * Third-party controllers don't even match those with a design very similar to the official pro. *The entire dock is very cheaply made and does not hold the controllers securely or help route the ports to the charging head. It does nothing but stick out a very short way, resulting in barely reaching the controller ports and scratching the controller trying to align it right, and then the slightest vibration is enough even if someone is walking across the room to drop the controller.* Even the official Nintendo Pro Controller doesn't sit properly on the charging port.* And that's the biggest obstacle of all. All charging stations, both for controllers and Joy-Cons, are randomly selected whether they work or not. One day they charge normally, the next 2 days is nothing but a dead port. I tried using this for 2 weeks and it charged successfully for maybe 4 days? Now it will be returned. I have a cheap copy of a $10 PlayStation controller dock that is absolutely centered around this product. The controllers guide, lock securely and always have a reliable charge. While this docking station looks good, it offers literally nothing reliable or functional.

Pros
  • Easy to set up - Easy to use. Connect the charger to the original Nintendo Switch for input power. Connect the Joy-Con or Pro controller to charge, the corresponding indicator icons will light up red and when fully charged, they will light up green.
Cons
  • Approximately
