They're heavy, a little heavier than a skateboard shoe, but actually heavier than my work Reebock Sublite High Tops. The suede construction is retro. The black on the outside contrasts well with the white on the inside. As expected, until feet sweat like other waterproof work shoes. Reliable toe and heel protection. I wear them outside of work for added protection and am happy with the choice for that purpose.
