If I could put negative stars I would. After spending more time studying SD cards than I'd like to admit, I settled on this one, ignoring the negative reviews about the card's propensity to fail. Travel photography is my hobby and I shoot in RAW quite a bit, so I needed a fast, large memory card that could handle it. The card worked flawlessly the first time I drove it. Then, during my second trip, the card gave error messages and refused to write pictures. I've backed up everything I've done up to this point, reformatted the card and everything seems to have been fixed. A week later the problem reappeared, but this time my computer couldn't read the card and I couldn't access the pictures. After hours of troubleshooting I finally bought a $100 software that recovered some but not all of my lost pictures. This map is garbage and has cost me time, money and pictures that I can't get back. I will never buy a Lexar product again and recommend you choose another brand. Maybe you're lucky and your Lexar card is fine, but do you really want to play with your priceless photos?
