We've had this boat toy for a few months now and my young son still enjoys playing with it in the bath or pool. There are a few cool features that I think make it unique and fun for kids: - It's big! It's a lot bigger than the little tiny boats we used to have. You can literally load it up with plastic soldiers, plastic animals, hot wheels, or any other small toys your child will enjoy on the "journey". It has a retractable ramp. It's something my son enjoys playing with and letting things go up and down. It has a water wheel on one end that actually powers it. It took us some time to understand it. All you have to do is spin it in one direction by hand for a few seconds and release (the longer you spin it, the longer it spins). It's not super fast or powerful, but it's an interesting feature nonetheless. There are a few more nice features for parents: - It can be opened for easy cleaning. You don't have to worry about internal molding or water retention as you can take it apart to dry and easily reassemble it. Battat toys are free from harmful chemicals like BPA and phthalates. You can let your little ones play with it knowing they won't be exposed to anything harmful, especially in the bath. I expect this boat toy will be used by us for many years to come. Definitely worth buying. It's also a great gift.
