Bought these to hold face mask straps and they work great. Someone else mentioned the smell and when it was first opened, yes they had a smell. However, I no longer notice it. Someone else mentioned using invisible bobby pins to attach to the elastic or straps of the face mask. This was a useful suggestion as it requires some effort but is doable. I actually used a stealth and pulled it out with pliers for extra help. Once in place they work great and make behind the ears more comfortable. You will not regret it.
