I'm an idiot and I have a lot of Vera Bradley bags. Maybe four or five. I have these because regular bags are not made specifically for a laptop and just have a large open area in the middle. Great for general hauling but not for laptops and papers. Due to Covid I have been working from home but now I have to go on a business trip. My old work bag is outdated so I need a new one for this trip. Since I love Vera, I was sure that I would like it too. no Problems: 1. I have a 15" MacBook Pro. It fits lengthwise in the middle bag (long bag size, large laptop size) but up and down. Fits in a bag although it's a bit tall. But there is one Strap. with velcro which is meant for the top of the laptop and which I can only close with determination. It barely fits. 2. The top zipper does not go all the way It stops a few inches on either end. Somewhat similar in design to mine other tote bags by Vera Bradley (including my Performance Twill Tote which is not a "work bag" but it is maybe twice as long and significantly larger in area. The size of the gap is what really worries me about this bag. It is really quite odd for me considering the similarity to other (non-functioning) bags 3. Also totally unexpected is that it's a few inches shorter than my very similar Performance Twill Tote was expecting it to have the same capacity but with added "work" features. tote".) Things I like: 1. Laptop compartment, although it should be a bit higher 2. Outside pockets 3. That one of the outside pockets has a zip bottom and can be converted into a luggage port. I'm going to return and one of the ones already available Use bags.Very disappointed.
