The box was reasonably sized, and wasn't too heavy. The assembly was reasonably easy, and anyone that deals with furniture regularly won't have any issues. But if you don't assemble furniture often, this will be higher in difficulty. The instructions are brief, and some of the steps are not depicted in the very brief instructions.The desk is very sturdy, and doesn't creak or shake, which I am impressed with. Once my wife saw this desk, she ordered another in colors she liked.
