I tried to try it. I really did. Based on all the positive reviews I thought I had found my holy grail. I need to have specific types of shampoo/conditioner for my hair/scalp. I understand this is for kids but I don't think it should be so unfortunate. The smell is bearable, but I was afraid to use it every time. When children use this product, I feel even worse because of their experience. No foam. The scent smells like the banana starfall you were given as a kid. Cons: It really helped with the tangles in my hair that it advertised. If you have a sensitive scalp, use a higher brand shampoo/conditioner. Don't get carried away by the hype. This bottle arrived in a leaking mess and overflowed the Amazon box. I was surprised that any product was left behind.
