Review on Koss KPH14G Side Firing Headphone (Green) by Ricardo Ware

I bought these earphones to replace my Sony MDR-A44 (shiny silver sides) and MDR-A34 (short minidisc cable) crooked earphones. Both were basically the same as the MDR-W08. (I haven't tried Sonxtronics.) I find in-ear headphones ideal for extended wear at a desk in a shared office environment. They should have good sound, moderate sound isolation, low sound leakage (the Koss KSC75 is my top choice for headphones, but the audio bleeds too much for my office mates), they're easier to put on and take off than headphones, and the light is reasonable , so as not to tire my head. These Koss HPH14K ticked all the boxes except they squeezed my head so tight I couldn't even wear them for half an hour. You need a wider headband. No problem. Get your scissors and try to find some flexible 1/4" ID hose (mine is a black fuel hose that I already had). Close your eyes and cut through the top center of the headband (actually you can just cut it a little and then bend the band until it snaps into place). Cut the tube about 4" long. Insert each end of the headband about 1" into the tube. Done, now you can adjust in four places .Use a lighter tube if possible so it doesn't weigh down on your head 4 stars for the sound quality and the price is right ($15!), but 1 star for people with small heads (or maybe Koss thought people wanted, that they fit really tight during training).
