Nice bright red, luckily matches my Husker gear, NCAA I think. Difficult to find at the right price for some reason. Feels very soft. It's lightweight but I wanted that as it will be worn with a parka winter coat and I don't need bulk. If I just put it on the back of my neck and go down in the front, it ends up right at the hip flexors. For some reason, many scarves are ridiculously long. I could do without the fringes, but that's personal preference and doesn't detract from the effectiveness of this scarf. I think it was a good buy.
