I wasn't sure if I should buy this product - complaints about odours, roughness etc got me thinking, especially considering the price. However, I am happy to report that I was not wrong in purchasing these sponges. The fact that they are made in the USA also influenced my decision. I found them to be neither too rough nor too soft; They're thinner than I expected, but they clean my face just as well as thicker sponges. You won't get any complaints from me. I've used washcloths, washcloths, etc, and the APPEARUS Natural Cellulose Facial Sponge has done its job as well as the others and even better than some. What I particularly find these sponges to be better than any other is how quickly they rinse off soap and how quickly they dry. So yes, I would buy them again.
