Review on 💻 StarTech.com USB C Dock: Dual Monitor HDMI & DisplayPort 4K 30Hz - Thunderbolt 3 Compatible by Edwin White

I'm a big fan of StarTech products and I really wanted this model to fit my new Macbook Pro. Unfortunately, this created a lot of background hum along my recording software and hardware. I contacted StarTech Support and they were very helpful in educating me on the various customization options. We temporarily got one working until I had to hook up the next transcode box, which got me back to square one. They recommended I return it for a replacement. The same applies to the replacement. My Apogee is not working. I've tried new drivers, different power outlets, different Thunderbolt ports, fanout, everything. I ended up returning the second device as well and decided to try a smaller non-powered Thunderbolt dock from the same company. This works fine as it should. Unfortunately it only has 2 USB outputs and 2 HDMI outputs plus 1 Ethernet. It's getting hot, but at least this one works.
