I tried it for a few months but eventually stopped using it. After a while, it started interfering with the iPad's touch function. For example, I had to click an item multiple times to open it instead of just clicking once. It got really annoying. It helped a little with glare and with fingerprints. I wipe the screen, so fingerprints aren't a problem for me anyway. It also reduces the brightness of the display. The iPad is widely used in the aviation industry. I spoke to an aviation software company about the glare issue and they decided that the glare issue is indeed related to brightness. If the display is bright enough, you can see the screen well in bright sunlight. Unfortunately, iPads are usually not that relatively bright.
