I love this coat but unfortunately I believed some reviews that the size chart was inaccurate although it is very accurate. I ordered a large one, I was able to fit in and close it completely, but it was uncomfortable. Came back for Xlg. I will let you know how this size fits. UPDATE: I have xlg and love it love it love it. The size difference is not that big. It goes perfectly with single layer clothing but gets a little tight when I wear a layered shirt with a sweatshirt. I wish they had made the sleeves bigger but so be it. I love the workmanship and for me this is the perfect design with the double zip and buttons to open the bottom of the coat at the back. I wear size 14 pants and medium/large tops. I'm wide-legged with broader shoulders and this XLG size coat fits me perfectly. I measured the inside of the coat just below the armholes, zip to zip, and the inside "chest" measurement was 49 inches. Then I measured 3 inches under the armholes, zipper to zipper, and it came out to be 47 inches. Help some women decide This coat has made me a very happy customer.
