I just wore them for a 4 mile walk right out of the box. I have no blisters. They are perfect in every way except that they taper a bit at the arch. I usually wear medium-sized clothes. I don't want to go for the wide version because I think they will be too big in other places, especially around the ankles. However, I have a feeling that they will break soon as the shoes are flexible and not rigid. After the walk there was no residual pain in the legs. Otherwise I would say they are true to size. Addendum: They broke after wearing them several times. Now they are comfortable and do not let pebbles get on the path.
